...that were to small when you bought them and you thought: ohhh, they are going to fit perfectly when i am in a good eating behaviour again- and you never get to wear them....?

I alter them. I'm kind of improv-y, and I'm not afraid of ripping, sewing and cutting. I have dozens of old t-shirts I've turned into halter tops, slouch tops, off-the-shoulders, etc., and many of my (and my friends') old fave clothes have gone into a patchwork denim miniskirt that I now wear often.

I will either give them to a friend, offer them to my sister, or take them to a second hand store like Goodwill so that someone will get some use out of them. If I didn't clip the tag, I would take the clothing back and get a refund.

I hardly ever buy something that doesn't fit me right away. It can get really expensive. Plus I would just get mad that I bought this really cute outfit and can never wear it. That would be hard.

if they're new & haven't been worn give them to a friend that's the size of the clothing. they'll like the new clothes they didn't have to pay for and you'll not feel guilty about buying them!

Remind myself that no one knows the size but me, I can rip out the tag & lie if I want to, and something that is too tight is what will REALLY make me (or anyone) look fat.

lol...I have piles of this stuff! Was planning on selling them on Ebay but I just haven't gotten around to it and the piles are getting bigger...so the new plan is to just donate them to a women's shelter...thanks for reminding me, I better get to it! ^_^
