The Jewish population in Europe before and during WWII did not have it's own territory, government, air force, navy or army. I hope you don't go to U.S. public schools, otherwise our education system is worse than I thought.

Because Germany didn't have anything like the Second Amendment. or the First.

Because they were vastly outnumbered and Hitler convinced the vast majority of the people the Jews were responsible for their ills, taking advantage of a long history of abuse the Jews had suffered, and the Jews were prevented/forbidden from arguing the facts of the case.

because now Israel has a state- a goverment and army and ways to defend themselves. before 1948 they didnt have all of this.
