I got an email from a guy who says he is a lawyer in Malaysia. He said he had a client that died in 2004 and his account is frozen cuz he had no family. He says his client had the same last name as me and if I say I am his next of kin he will give me 40% of the 13 million he has? This is bs right?

Absolutely scam.
The internet is full of it - a lot of Africans offering you a stake of a large sum of money if they can transfer it to your account - they have always an excuse that they cannot get the money out themselves.
Sounds terrific but then the moment comes they have to transfer - they will ask you to send the fees for the transfer first... and if you do... then your money is gone...and so will they..

This scam is in many many variations on the net, also from Asia and other places. Simply do not believe. If it sounds too good to be true.. it probably isn't.

Sounds like a scam.. if it doesn't involve you sending him anything, check into it. But remember, if he asks for you to send him anything..anything at all.. pull the reins.
You could ask a local news station to check into this for you.. that way, if it's all a scam, they can forewarn everyone else in the stations viewing area.
Besides, why only 40% of the 13 million??
Talk to the news people on TV...
scam scam scam..

I'd say that it is most definately bs. How much do you have to pay him? What do you have to do to get that 40%? Why is it only 40%? Trust me it's a scam.

I get that all the time, but ignore it...I don't think it's real...Unless you're absolutely sure there is no way anyone could get your last name and email address off of some site, totally ignore it.

Yes, it is BS to get access to your account and DRAIN IT. I have heard about this sort of thing. Trust your gut and stay clear.

SCAM!!

You reply to this email, and get another one, or you'll be forwarded to a site where you input your info, bank info, pin number, and they take all your money Plus, governments take all money that goes unclaimed.
