This special time is to be with her family, but a card , and phone calls when you can get through, or even messages left on her phone will mean the world to her. Flowers are nice, but to the dying, it is often a reminder of funerals and they are not as welcome as some think. When it is over, it will be your time to kick in, especially if he passes. Grief is a long process and she will really need you then. She is lucky to have such a caring friend. God Bless you and your friend and her dad.

U just send her bouquet to her home or if her father is still in the hospital, send the bouquet to the hospital and along with the bouquet U could send a Greeting to her like get well soon or prayers for her father.
I'm sure this will not cheer her up, but surely make her feel that U are there besides her, to love her, to shower kindness and besides her during all the goods and bads. This will make her feel comfortable and peace to her mind.
My prayers for her father. God will bless her father.

Just be there for her and listen to her. Go to the hospital with her. My gram passed away three years ago, my mom went to the hospital each day, I couldn't stand to, and now that she's gone I know the millions of questions I would have asked her. Cancer's hard. It runs in my family. Good luck and God Bless.

If at all possible, take some time off to be with her, to let her know you care and are supportive, you can also send flowers, cards and colorful balloons to her Father's room, then surprise her by showing up, if even for a few hours. You need to let her know just how much you care. Good luck.

Even if she's busy in the hospital you need to keep on calling her and leave message, even in email you need to leave message there. So that, if she listen to it or open the Internet, she will smile because even if you cannot talk to her she knows that you're always there and you're just there to put a smile on her face.

Give her the time she needs to deal with this crisis. Her focus is on her father. Let your heart and thoughts be for him, on her behalf. Be there for her when this has passed.
