Just be aware that the risks to both you and your child are dramatically higher every year past age 35. Not only for a difficult pregnancy and delivery but for birth defects like Down's Syndrome. You should speak to your OBGYN prior to attempting to conceive.

member Sarah and Hannah in the Old Testament. They were considered too old but had the greatest sons knowm to the world Sarah had Issac and Hannah had Samuel. Also, Ann(e), Mary's mother, adoptive grandmother of Jesus, was old when she conceived Mary. Last, but not least Elizabeth, mother of John The Baptist, cousin of Jesus, she too was old and barren. So, there are your role models. If it can happen to them, it can happen to you and all older women who want to conceive. Let it happen naturally from God, though. Then you will know, that your child was a gift from God and He blessed you by opening up your womb and healed it of whatsoever infirmities it laid under. Pray for conception. I will pray for you too and if it is God's will, you willl get pregnant. All things come from God.

You're very brave. Having a baby at 47 is VERY dangerous for you and the child. Did you know your chances of having a baby with down sindrome are very high?

Adopt. There are tens of millions of orphaned kids in the world that need a family. Stop being selfish and contact an adoption agency.
