It's humid in New York City today and the temperature is 85 degrees F. Hurricane Beryl dropped in as a HUGE thunderstorm yesterday. It is moving up to Boston today.
The eastern seaboard suffers HUMID heat during summer, where as western states experience dry heat.
It was 102 degrees this past Monday & Tuesday. Parts of the city lost power, including 2 of our 3 major airports. Queens, NY is going into its 6th day without electricity, and the 100,000 plus people are PISSED off, crying, can't sleep, throwing out spoiled food, etc. City agencies passing out ice bags and water bottles.
