Example: true story...When I was a teenager I used to babysit for a sister of mine. After I put my nephew and niece to bed, and eventualy, I went to bed, the house would be quiet and as I was trying to fall asleep, I would hear footsteps in the attic. I would check my nephew and niece to make sure they were ok, and that the windows and doors were locked, as well as the basement, but I never checked the attic. Then I would fall asleep listening to the footsteps. This happened almost every time I baby sat . I never told anyone about it. When I got older I figured out what caused the footsteps.

I was almost kidnapped.

When I was 7 I was at a Cub's Baseball game with my family and someone grabbed me by the neck and i thought it was one of my older brothers playing a trick on me. I looked up to see a man that I had never seen in my life before. I was a arms length away from my father and I reached out and grabbed my fathers hand just as his hand swinged back from walking (i hope you know what I mean) and pulled my self closer to my dad. the man squeezed harder as to make me stop grabbing for my father. I looked up at my father and he smiled at me and I said "Hi Daddy." the man let go of my neck. That was the worst feeling until he let go of my neck.

BTW what were the foot step sounds?

My Math teacher is going to med school, but when he was like 15 he worked in a hospital. His job was to clean the floors. So this homeless guy came in and the doctors tried to save him but he died. So my math teacher went in and was cleaning the floor, the body was still on the table. All of a sudden the body jerked up into a sitting position and said, "I don't want to go down there." Then the guy fell back down. My math teacher got the doctor but the doctor said he wasn't breathing. My math teacher said he was freakin out. True story according to him. Freaked me out.

one night i came home from my friend's place... they had given me 2 hits of acid about 3 hours before. which was nothing... i had done 10 at a time before... but for some reason this trip went reeeeallly bad. i remember going up into my room and just feeling this anxiety, like i wanted nothing more for the feeling to just END! i went into my bedroom and tried to nap. tried watching tv. tried taking a bath. nothing!! i remember thinking "this must be what it feels like to be insane!" i finally went downstairs, and everything looked so strange after getting out of the tub. waxy and 2-dimensional, like everything was made of cardboard placcards. there was a buzz in the air, like tape hiss. i remember coming down the stairs in slow motion, and i could see the tv before i was even in the same room. they were showing clips of all these actors and stars who died of drug overdoses. images of these people talking to the camera... studdering and stammering uncomfortably and saying outrageous and disturbing things, babbling baffling spitting bullshit bastards! in a way that synced with my own frightening mental incoherence. the channel flicked back and forth between this and Bill Cosby's "Kids Say the Darndest Things" and Bill was just making these uncomfortable facial gestures close-up and coughing, and no one was speaking coherently. He was sweatting. The dead stars were too. everything was going terribly wrong on tv, jsut coming apart in these unsettling fiascoes failings of the human mind. I realized at that point what they were all trying to say. I asked my mom if I had died. I looked across the poorly-lit living room and she was on the couch and said, in a sober and disappointed tone, "yeah." i remember racing through my mind trying to find anything... memories, words, names... i had nothing. My mind was gone. Then i remember lying on the other couch on my stomach... i don't remember walking over, i just got there. My mom started rubbing my back like she did when i was little. She asked me why i'm making her do this. I didn't know what she meant. Then she just kept repeating it, each time in a more angry and distraught voice, and she began rubbing more firmly. Finally, her pitch had reached a hollaring scream, and she began tearing through my clothes. WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS!!!! Through my skin. Ripping into my muscles and shredding them from my bone into the deepest tissues of my back,. I couldn't scream. the revelations came at that point. I jsut remembered thinking that i am dead, and this pain and fright and torture is forever. i no longer have another death to look forward to. eternal torment, no end, forever, reality, irreversible. i lost my chance. revelations.

The next day, I asked my mom if there was a show about overdosed stars on tv last night. She said "yeah... maybe you should take something from that." I never spoke to her about the incident any further. For 2 years after I battled with anxiety and panic attacks, especially right before falling asleep.

True story.

she was adapted to life there..
