why are rap haters so lame?

i know why! cause they they're confused and hate on legends like public enemy or black star, yet think freaks like marylin manson or talenless wankstas like limp bizkit are music gods. HA! prove me wrong haters.

PS. i like rock too, so before you haters go buck wild like the retards you are, be aware of that fact. my opinion is that yall are rasict...stop burnin' crosses and start burnin' trees bitches.

im taking about haters, not just people that dont like it...i dont like listening to opera, but i dont hate on it...its a big difference.

I am a rap fan. It's true that some Rap songs are "dumb" or "nasty." However, there are so many rap songs that are entertaining and influential. A lot of these HATERS talk about rap - they're just mad about how big it's becoming, since, a Rap song won an Oscar. So, did Eminem's Lose Yourself. So, 2 Rap songs won Oscars. No one is forcing you Haters to listen to rap. So, if you simply don't like it and your against it - then DON'T LISTEN TO IT. No one cares about your stupid opinions. No Music is better than the other. It all comes down to your taste in music. Some people like rap others like Country! So get over it - RAP MUSIC IS GREAT!

Well you're just a stereotypical jerk aren't you. Because all rappers are black right? All people that hate rap are racist and all people that don't listen to rap, must listen to weak watered-down rock like limp bizkit & marylin manson, right? Now, I don't like the "haters" either, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions about music and if you can't handle other people's opinions then you got more problems then just dealing with the "haters".

Rap's probably my favorite type of music. But all they talk about is girls as$es: for example, Salt Shaker, Laffy Taffy, the list goes on and I could go on forever naming songs that are just about gettin' some! I think it's a bit much. There's the odd song that's about something else like "love" supposedly, or the song "Poppin My Collar" by Three 6 Mafia. Lol I only listen to it for the beats...

First of all, I'm a white woman married to a black man, so I'm not racist by any stretch of the imagination.

Secondly, just because I don't like *the vast majority of rap* does not mean I like Marilyn Manson or anyone else you named.

Thirdly, I personally find most rap to be thoughtless and lacking in originality both in lyrics and arrangement. It's often violent and hateful which is something I do not wish to subject myself or my family to. Granted, not all rap is trash but too much of it is.

Let's draw a distinction before we sling too much poo. Some rappers are incredibly talented. Anyone that thinks they can freestyle like the greats needs to try it some time. However:

I don't feel too racist when I see a talentless, overproduced homie, complete with bling-bling and hoes, spewing out old, tired rhymes and worn out samples; and I think, "This really sucks!"

Do yourself a favor. Instead of blindly defending bogus wanna-be's, bust on these pretenders as hard as you're busting on the haters. Believe me, I don't cut any slack to rock wanna-be's.

I don't understand it too. Some artiste from other genres are so over-hyped, it's like some people and the media is trying to convince you to love the particular artiste they are promoting and then the bitches will downplay some of the talented rap artiste out there making the hits!

I love rap. I grew up listening to some great rap artists! Black Sheep, Digable Planets, Pharcyde, EPMD, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, etc. Man, those were the days.

err ok well i am not a "hater" but i certainly don't like rap, and i am not a racist... i don't particular get along to well with black people but that is just cause i have yet to find a black person that listens to heavy metal and doesn't talk like they are from the ghetto....
