No, of course it's not illegal. If it were, some sections of Yahoo answers would be empty because of all the arrests made.

This may not be a joke question, but it truly is a FARCE. Some people really have no idea what repression really is. Try living in Iran or Vietnam for a while, and then tell me if you understand what it means to be jailed for criticizing the administration.

Its our constitutional right to have Freedom of Speech about ANYTHING that includes the idiotic president we have as well as the idiots who thought it was a grand idea to have him re-elected. And the whole state of Florida for their stupidity on ballots who got him elected in the first place. If it was illegal do you think Michael Moore would have been able to have Fahrenheit 9/11? GREAT MOVIE by the way watched it again last night on TMC.

No it is NOT illegal to disapprove the Bush Adminstration. No matter how much some people may want it to be. People are entitled to have an opinion. I'm in the Army and disapprove of the Administration. That doesn't make me unamerican or anything. I have my opinions. You have yours.

If it was many here would be in jail.

Our news does any one can even to Bush`s face.

I may not like it but It is how we live and We love it and will come together and fight to keep it. I may have up set many here with some of the stuff I have said. But here in the US what is one point we ALL stand for side by side and we will fight the same way.

Not yet, but in the past people have found The IRS crawling up their butt with a microscope if they became too much of a thorn in the side of those in power. Give the current regime half a chance and we will end up with our own version of Hitler's "Enabling Acts".

Look how many questions and answers are critical of the Bush administration. I doubt that it's illegal.

They can also illegally *out* your CIA operative wife when you try to reveal Bush's outright *lies* regarding bogus uranium purchases by a former regime as retaliation... but no, it's not illegal,,,, unless they passed some secret law we don't know about yet.

Freedom of speech is a legal right, guaranteed by the 1st amendment and protected by the Constitution... To all legal US citizens.

it is not yet illegal to be critical of the administration. however, of course, making threats relating to its overthrow, etc. probably is. sedition, i believe it's called. what's interesting is that such a question is being asked relative to "mere" criticism in view of 1st amendment "guarantees". a lot of people are beginning to keep their criticism to themselves, i've noted. repression and implied retribution seem to be in the air, do they not? these are difficult times.
