it was a pre-played game and i bought the insurance on it and sometimes it loads up to the first start screen but then you cant do anything, there are no scratches on the disc and i dont understand why it wont work,also i bought it about a year ago, then i moved so i didnt get a chance to return the game (Final Fantasy X-2) does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do?

i have two ps2s and it did the same thing on both they work with all our other games and i dont know if we have the manual to know how to clean it.......is there a way to clean it w/o taking it apart??

It probably did have a scratch and the previous owner tried to clean it,Sometimes this wipes out the disc info instead. You need to call the place you got it from and see if you can return it, if not your out of luck.. Sorry.

some of the discs you buy that are preplayed they repair you cant see the scratches but they are there you can buy a laser disc cleaner for your computer and it works very well on the ps2 some discs are made cheaper if it has a blue or black disc chances are it will not play

its proboly a bug but ps2 games have them a lot xbox is a lot better
