Ive had 2 c-sections and both times they "busted" open its pretty scary but normal just keep it clean and dry it will heal keep your appointment it will be fine but keep it clean to avoid infection if it gets real red call the Doctor a little bleeding or green goo is OK you will see it on your panties don't freak good luck and congrats on the baby

What? My staples were removed before I left the hospital I only had steri strips on the outside no stitches on the outside... Get betadine it's like iodine at the drugstore apply 2-3 times daily and blow dry with the hairdryer that will dry them up so the incision will heal quicker. I had one spot that took a little longer to heal than the rest. Tell her to take it easy if it is coming open or oozing then she is doing to much it will take a full6-8 weeks to close.

I have had 3 c-sections and never had to have my stitches removed. They dissolve over time. So I am not sure why she would get them removed. If they have opened up she should go see the doctor. I had one of my stitches do this but it ended up healing on it's own. But that was only one.

It is very unusual for your friend not to have her stitches removed yet after 25 days!!

Generally, if you have a transverse/horizontal incision, the stitches usually are removed on about the 5th day after the operation. And if it is vertical, 1 weeks is usual.

Your friend should go see her doctor as soon as possible

My stitches were removed before I left the hospital. Three days after delivery. They then used sticky stuff and butterfly bandages to keep everything closed.

Your friend is stupid. She doesn't have to wait until her next appointment when she has an emergency like pulling stitches. Slap her upside the head and make her call her doctor and tell him what happened.

put some sterile water mixed 50/50 with hydrogen peroxide on it. Then use those butterfly strips to hold it together, the 25th is coming up.
