I've admired Dennis Bergkamp for years, he oozes class. But I think Thierry Henry may just pip him as Arsenal's best ever signing.

But Henry and Bergkamp are definitely the best 2 Arsenal signings by a mile.

Yes, he turned Arsenal from an average team to the best team in the country. Also after Arsenal signed him more players wanted to join Arsenal to play with a great like Bergkamp. If it wasn't for Bergkamp I don't think Arsenal would be where they are today. He also made Arsenal go from playing defensive football to counter attacking, elegent football. He has definitely been one of the premierships best players and he will be sorely missed :(

1 Thierry Henry - mesmerising you shake your head in disbelief at some of the things he does
2 Dennis Bergkamp - the ultimate professional and inspirational
3 Ian Wright - enough said
4 Tony Adams - born winner
5 Nicolas Anelka - strange one i know but you made a fortune on him

Dennis Bergkamp's in Arsenal for over a decade, and had his best years. The Bergkamp testimonial is a way the club to honour him upon his retirement. he was one of the best strikers for the Club -Arsenal back in highbury, and i won't even be surprised, when Thierry Henry retires, they're going to bring up Henry's Testimonial.

So cheers to Dennis Bergkamp!

Bergksmp was the best ever signing to play for Arsenal. He was pure class and deserved to gain the recognition of playing the first game as his testimonial at Ashburton Grove.

Well he probably gave birth to what we now know as the Premiership and he was very good in his time. Best ever signing? No.
