I have had my period for over 6 years, and it always comes on time...until yesterday. I was supposed to get it, but I didn't. I took two EPT's and one was positive and the other was negative. I took them at the SAME time. I just got what I think is myh period, but it is 36 hours late. It ALWAYS comes at midnight!
I have had unprotceted sex, my fiance and I are trying to have a baby. I have been eating A LOT more, and I am gaining weight. It hurts to sleep on my side or stomach. Could it be attachment bleeding? I think that is what it is called.
Has anyone gone through this??

It's called implantation bleeding and yes, it could be exactly what it is. As far as the sleeping problems, I've never heard of that as being an early pregnancy symptom...that happens after you start showing. But, if you had a positive EPT, you are most likely pregnant. False positives are much more unlikely than false negatives. Try taking another test right when you wake up in the morning...that's the best time for the "pregnancy hormone" to affect the test (or of course, go to the doc to get a blood test).

Either way...you could definatly be pregnant. Best of luck to you!!

I would say you are not pregnant if you got your period 36 hours late thats only 1 day stress could cause that.. As for eating you don't eat that much more in the first trimester. Go get a blood test at the dr on monday. That will let ya know for sure..

The false/negative happened with my first. Two tests/ and now a child. I would wait about 4 more days and then take another and see what happens. If you still are not bleeding then go to the doctors. They are never wrong.

I spotted for a few days with my first child. False negative tests are more common than you think in early pregnancy. If you dont start a full blown period wait 3 days (to allow the HPT hormone level to double ) and then retest.

if you had a positive test (even ONE), odds are you are pregnant. a test WILL NOT show up positive unless there is pregnancy hormone in your body.
to be sure, wait a couple more days and take another test with your first pee of the morning.
but in the meantime, assume you're pregnant! congrats!

re: your pain..... i don't know..... you should probably bring that up with your doctor. it's normal to have mild period-type cramps when you are first pregnant, but what you're describing sounds different. don't worry, just bring it up with your ob/gyn.

good luck!

Couldn't say. Could be a lot of things including preganancy. If you genuinely think you are bleeding and not having your period, go to the doctor. Better to be safe than sorry.
