The bad part of this URL is the large number of wild-guessers who submit answers. Those of you who are mocking women who marry older men, have clearly no experience with it in your own life, do you?

I worked with a woman who at 29, and divorced from a really bad marriage, married a 33 year old man. 44-29=15.

She said the only problem was that he died in his 60's. She said she had not one minute's regrets for marrying an older man, even if he did die when she was still young.

She said he was so mature, and he treated her like a princess. She also said if more women knew what it was like to marry an older man like that, every woman would do it. And, she definitely recommends it.

The really amusing part of this, is that her next husband was FIFTEEN YEARS YOUNGER THAN SHE IS. Hee, hee.

no, they're standing before God and getting married for the wrong reason. If it don't effect them on the wedding day it won't affect them untill the money is gone. Then its on to the next money bags.

I would hope not.

If the goal is to marry for monetary gain then, the question of the roll of love doesn't lend any merit to the sanctity of marriage.

I didn't marry him I dated him. Sounds shallow, but he gave me an ATM card and a car, no I didn't ask, and no, I didn't "earn" it. He considered me a trophy plus it pissed off his ex-wife. Left him for a guy 2 years younger than me. Nope, not sad at all.

I don't think so. If they were shallow enough in the first place to marry for anything but love, they know perfectly well the choice they made in life.

Objects, not love, is important to them.
