lucky you to have a choice, I live in rural spain so have no such thing as take aways, although bars etc. are open all night and we went out to the lake to eat, prawn coctail (and I mean prawns, not the shrinky liddle shrimpy things in the UK) then solomillo de cerdo con roqefourt sauce, postre was catalan helado followed by cafe con leche, all washed down with tinto de verano y ponche........ and all for 13€ a head... oops, did I say you were lucky......

Use plain refrigerator biscuit dough. Smoosh each section of the dough down a bit with just your hands and smear bean dip gently on top. Sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top, and then spoon two tablespoons of slightly sauteed onions and cooked chicken chunks on it. Carefully roll it up unto itself and seal then drop into 1 inch of hot fat in a skillet. Stand by constantly because the dough browns up quickly. Turn over and golden up the other side, remove, drain on a paper towel and eat immediately while watching a great movie. Yum.

Go to Dean and Deluca or Harrods (if you're in London) and grab some tasty snacks: finger sandwiches with salmon and cukes, a small tin of caviar with some crackers and clotted cream, some sliced fillet Mignon...go wild!

My pal and I went for a Thai satay and green curry at lunch today. I would recommend it big time. But nothing can compete with Saturday night fish and chip shut in. Enjoy.
