My mother has been downtown, had lawyers but they barely got it to work. He only pays $27.30 a week or every two just for me and my little 13 year old brother $10. I ask him for money and he doesn't care at all. When he comes into town from Nebraska to visit his aunts, uncles, sister, and brothers and us, he acts like Mr. Big Shot. Now he's not going to give me any money. I did nothing at all to diserve this. There is more to what he does and says to me but I think that that is rather private. I hate him. What shall I do, not my mother?

sounds like my ex, but my ex owes me OVER $100,000 in back support,is a job skipping jerk! you can't sue until you're 18, when he goes on social security, u can sue for up to 75%, i think if you really need the money, you could get a part time job to help your mom out. u r 16 and she technically still owns you. if u hate him so much, just write him off! stay in school, go to college, be a better person than him, then put him in a 3rd rate nursing home where he can die malnurished and ignored.

Did the courts make him $27.30 a week for you, or is that just what he's sending? Who can live on that? Ask your mother to help you do the paperwork in order to sue him. If he has a decent job, then I believe he should be paying a whole lot more than that. If you can't get anything out of him, then just forget it. He will regret it someday, and if not, then he will pay for it in some way or another, because like they say, God don't like ugly!! You have your mother, try and help her out. You are 16, find yourself a nice part time job and keep your grades up in school so that some day you can become somebody. Education is key, so don't let your grades slip. Be the bigger person. Be close with your mother and your brother. Be there for eachother. You don't need him for anything.

I'm sorry but no, you could get a part time job and help Ur mom that way until u get 18, i hope that thing u said is private ain't what i think, but if it is then u could definitely do some thing you would have to go to a lawyer and tell them (everything)

Your Mom needs to take him back to court the amount he pays goes on the amount he makes, but look at it this way at least you are getting some money my ex is in jail and I don't get a dime for my 2 kids.
