Yes because there are different laws in different states. But...it also depends on the state that u r moving from/to. ur best bet is to look up the driving standards of the state u r moving to and compare to the state you live in now.

i have moved to 4 different states - i didn't have to retake the test in any of them. each state has a website for the department of motor vehicles. find the one for the state you are moving to and it will tell you what you have to do to get your license

It depends on where you are moving. I moved to Wyoming and Idaho and they both made me take the written again. When I moved to Missouri, they just gave me a license based on having a valid license from another state.

In Mo. so long as you are valid in other state, or within 6 months of expired, you would only have to do vision and road sign test.

In many states, if you have too many points on your record, the new state may require you take the test.

If your record is OK, you should just need to apply.

I doubt it, but it depends on which states are involved. Some states will just take your old DL, some will make you take written, but not driving, some won't recognize your license at all.

It depends.........
