I drive a Black Mercedes E320 and people keep asking me if it's my parents car. Why do I keep getting this question? Oh by the way, I am 23.

My parents never owned the car, it has always been mine. I got it new in '02

People just find it hard to believe that someone so young has such a gorgeous and expensive car. They immediately assume that the vehicle MUST belong to your parents, but they want to ask just to make sure. Then I'm sure they are shocked to find out it is yours and wonder how on earth you got it so young. lol, mad props to you my friend.

Because it is highly unlikely that a 23 year old can buy one on their own.

Probably because you are acting like an idiot.

IE: You posted this question to float your own ego.

When you act like you are not used to nice things, people can only assume it's borrowed.
