The only reason you mention the NAACP(a civil rights group) is because your buddy Hannity would characterize them in this way because of their justified anger at this administration. They showed alot of class by letting bush even speak. If I was a member or leader I would have told him (after 5 years of neglect not only to the group but to black Americans) to go FCK himself.
I agree with some of the other posters to this question and "open a book" and learn something before you put your foot in your mouth...once again.

The implication behind your question is pretty bad.
I don't think you're taking aim at the KKK, neo-Nazis, or even the Black Panthers with this pointed question. If someone made the same comparison for any advocacy group you were affiliated with you would be offended as hell. I could throw the Republican party in there just to be funny but I won't go there.
It just so happens that white folks (except the uneducated racist variety evidently) don't need a racially oriented advocacy group. As the dominant racial majority in the U.S. White folks are doing just dandy on the whole--but the fact that minorities sometimes band together to help themselves really bugs some white folks. Maybe I should ask a question about that because I really don't understand it.
As far as I know the NAACP has never hung anyone from a tree by the neck until they are dead, nor to my knowledge have they advocated doing so. That alone makes them different from the KKK.
As far as I know the NAACP doesn't preach supremacy or separatism. If you've got concrete evidence to the contrary please post it. Comments from individuals affiliated with the NAACP that are merely critical of "white America," do not qualify. The stated purpose of the KKK and neo-Nazi groups are to promote racial supremacy and/or separatism. Show me the part of the NAACP charter or something similar that states these goals.
The Black Panthers were black separatists. You get a half-point there I guess, but they were just padding for your argument, weren't they? You were going after the NAACP because they've been in the news as panning Bush and they're typically associated with the Democrat party.
This comparison is totally bogus. You know, you can just say "I don't like the NAACP because they are advocates for a group which I do not belong to and they support the Democrats." That even sounds better than your question.

NAACP doesn't preach separation of the races at all --I'm not sure where you got that from. It's a group of minorities who make sure that the voices of African Americans get heard, not much different from any other lobbyist group with the exception of some of the extremes they had to go through in the 60's and 70's to help get rid of segragation and the extreme racism experienced by African Americans at that time. They are still around because racism still exists unfortunately...I know it does, both from experience and conversation. And this isn't paranoia--this is fact.
The Black Panther party started basically as angrier, more outspoken and defensive version of the NAACP. There was a lot of division due to extremist views of some--some wanted separatism, some didn't. So it started it with good intentions and ended badly. That party doesn't even exist anymore. Sects of "Black Panthers" are around, but have little to do with what the original group.
KKK and Neo-Nazis are separatist groups who pretty much hate all non-whites. There is no comparison.
Groups like the NAACP and Black Panthers came into existence because of racism from groups such as the KKK.

At least the KKK and Neo-nazis are consistent with their message and do something other than holding fancy dinners and entertaining people that go against their policies (like the NAACP did with Bush). Black Panthers were powerful and extreemly helpful at one time but their numbers have dwindled. Maybe because most of them have joined on to Farrahkahns movement. In terms of spouting hate, I think the KKK and the Neo Nazis have the monopoly on that as well as some nasty hate crimes.

While the rhetoric from the NAACP towards conservatives in America is thick and sometimes hateful I do not believe (as a conservative) that they preach seperation but equality. The KKK, Nazis and even Black Panthers never preached equality - not at all.

The NAACP as well as the black panthers stand up for an oppressed group. That's called self defense.Even if you don't agree with their methods, something had and has to be done to give black people equal rights.
KKK and Nazi's are groups that want to oppress and even kill people for being different.
That's called fascism.
Not the same

extra B.S. the black panthers of the 60's/70's were supported by using white socialists publicly & some jewish ppl privately. So how can they be a hate team. They ultimately denounced Black Nationalism publicly. SOOOO how can they be a hate team. They stood for self protection. Self protection antagonistic to racist/corrupt police officials, irish & italian mafia who were rather a lot terrorizing the black community interior the 60's. They even policed the community extra proper than the police officials, many situations beating up pimps & drug sellers both making them stop the commerce or pay taxes. The taxes in turn were utilized in helping a "free Breakfast" software for the youngsters-the first of its style interior the U.S. The panthers internally were continuously conflicted on wheter to believe whites. For good causes even DR. MLK's SCLC team changed into infiltrated & they stood for non-violence even interior the face of brutality!! The KKK have a extend history of ARSON, BOMBINGS of homes & church homes, homicide of adult adult males, RAPE of ladies & children & you've the nerve to analyze both. it style of feels some white ppl favor to equat black businesses to the savagery of the kkk & nazis to both ease their guilt about what changed into done or make those terrorist businesses look a lot less EVIL. no longer going to ensue!

Has the NAACP ever lynched someone?
Maybe I am not up on my history as I should be. By the way, this is a very idiotic and infantile question.
