I have a genuine leather, pink burberry purse. Yesterday while wearing a black tank top, the black dye faded onto my pants, nails, and my purse. What can I use to clean it? One side of the purse has a black tint to it and I'm not sure what is safe to use on the purse, and get the dye out of the leather.

Try using this leather cream called ResQ. It's meant to clean premium leather goods. I've been using it for at least 10 years to clean my leather bags, belts, jackets, wallets whenever they get moldy.

Dab a small quantity on a soft cloth and rub on the stain. Do it slowly and gently so that you do not rub off the pink color of the purse.

I can't guarantee it works but it's worth a try. You can buy the leather cream at http://mensfolio.com/product_info.php?products_id=153

You can go to a store that sells a leather cleaner. I would go to a store that sells nice leather purses so you are assured that it will work.
