I am always so sad when I hear young people express how bored they are or that they don't know how to have fun alone. Where are your books???? When I was your age, I would pick up plenty books from the library and I would read and go on adventures with the characters in the books. I remember taking catalogs that my folks would be finished with and create stories about the models. Where is your diary or journal? Write/Read/Draw. There are plenty of things for you to do. If you have a computer and excess to internet - just think of all the topics you could enter and look up information about. You'd be the smartest kid in your class! There are stories and books on line - people who like to write their own stories and send them back and forth to each other to review and read. I am sure there are some people you could help. Are you musical? Practice and make perfect on your instrument - or learn to play one. Learn a new language - it's on the internet. Paint, get permission to re-do your room. Learn a craft - sew, knit, crochet, make a quilt, gather all your pictures and create a new photo album, make photo album covers or other creative ideas that you can sell when school starts - get a business going. There are many, many things you can do. I wish I had the time to do some of these same activities. Last year, I told my students to start gathering pieces of cloth from old clothes, jeans, etc and we were going to make a quilt this year. Some of my students have already started a project where they will be 'giving socks away for Christmas. They are sewing buttons, and all kinds of decorations on the socks and will be selling and giving them away for the Children's hospital. Make some book jackets. Can you cook? Make cookies and sell them. Create a cookbook of your own favorite recipes. Help your mom or someone else organize a yard sale. Exercise. Experiment with your hair. Clean out your closet. Get busy....there is plenty for you to do. Good luck

Get off your lazy fat A$$ and get busy. Help out your parents. Vacuum the carpet, dust the furniture, scrub a toilet. They are out working so you can have a computer, Internet service, a phone, food, shelter and clothing. Why can't you show a little respect for them instead of write questions like these tempting all the horny little bastards to tell you to masturbate. Good grief, grow up. If your old enough to use the computer, your old enough to mop the floor. Lazy children make me sick.
