I need to open the BIOS on this machine and every combination I have tried has brought me to an error screen. What is the correct way to boot into BIOS on this machine?

could be a number of different keys.

1. hit the DEL key at boot
2. hit the f1 or f2 or f12 key at boot
3. hit the ctrl key at boot.

one of those should get you to the bios screen, good luck.
