I have extremely pale skin because I'm pretty much intolerant to sunlight (cough cough, GINGE, cough. :P). Personally I think that as well as being safer and reducing risk of melanomas (skin cancer) in later life, pale skin is aesthetically quite lovely. It is delicate and striking, if you do it right.
Obviously it's not going to look good if you have blotchy skin and lots of spots and blemishes (or if you are one of those teenie "goths" who wears whiteface like a clown and WAY too much black eyeliner and lippie) but then again neither is one of those horrific, deep-orange tans that so many girls and woman like to sport. *shudder*
Although a nice, natural, light, golden-looking tan can be just as sexy, I really do seem to be attracted more to soft, creamy-white skin.
So what do you guys - and gals - think? Is it sexy to be pale? Or do you think we palefaced people should go ahead and get a sunbed, already?

i think pale skin can be quite striking. ive seen girls with pale skin, dark hair and jewel colored eyes and they are stunning. i think i like it better than tan girls. too many teenage girls are walking around thinking they are the sexiest plastic in the world, what they dont realize is that their roange skin and fake blonde hair is NOT attractive because its fake and way to high mantianance.
girls and guys need to learn how to rock what they where born with, whether its their skin color, or weight, or some little insecurity. rock it because youve been given it for a reason. NEVER change who youare. because truely since when have these things defined true beauty? its so silly the extremes people will go to instead of enjoying life.
one question some people need to ask themselves is, will getting tan make me a better person? will this ince thick layer of make up give me inner beauty?

Some people do not look good in pale skin but that can be fixed with tinted moisturizer. I like being pale. I think it will help my skin age better, and I am more concerned about the long-term than short-term.

I personally perfer being tanned and not having light skin. over last winter I got pale & people kept asking if I was sick! I think gross is really harsh on saying how pale skinned people look but I do perfer tanned guys.

I think there is a difference from being pale, and having a fair complexion. Pale usually means your sick I think. Anyway, I usually go for the lighter "creamy-white" skins as you put it like you. More power to ya!

Every type of skin color is beautiful. It just depends on the eye of the beholder! I think pale is a nice skin complexion as well as tanned or dark skin.

heya!
if your worried about your skin being pale dont just use a fake tan! use a body moistureiser which has a tanning cream e.g jhonsons hgoliday skin which is very good!
for you face you could just try using a skughtly darker press powder or foundation. i dont think its sexy to be pale as i was very pale from wen i was born its onli in the last year that i have been goin out in the sun using moisturiser with the self taning cream in!

Pale skin is hot. Ppl who suntan look great when they young, but as they age, the nastier the skin begins to look. If you must have a darker complexion, use sunless tanning lotions.

It don't matter the shade of your skin, figure out a way to work it (color of clothes and eyeliner and the right look can make pale skin look great, but make sure its the look that fits you). Check out a Mac or a friend who knows fashion, they can probably help you find a look that works for you.

pale is nice ! look at Rose McGowan WOW !!! Besides in alot of cultures . Pale skin means wealth and beauty . Like in Japan for example . Your pale skin is envied in alot of countries . Just not the US , but hey , what do we know anyhow ?

I say be proud to be pale. Be really proud twenty years from now when your skin is as beautiful as it is today and all the other people your age have wrinkles and sun spots and look older than they should.
