She sounds severely insecure. No matter what a person thinks about how another person looks, telling a loved one of the person being commented on that that person is ugly, well its the rudest and meanest thing that someone can do. Every person is beautiful to SOMEONE.

I don't know how old your daughters are or how old your partner is, but I'd drop her like a bad habit. Obviously, she isn't able to share you with your daughters and will only continue to try and drive a wedge between you and them. Your daughters are your blood and shouldn't be verbally demeaned about the way they look.

Kick her butt to the curb and find a loving and FULLY supportive woman to be with.

It is jealousy, plain and simple. Your daughters are a reminder to her of the marriage and life you once shared with you ex, and your daughters are the beautiful result of better times in your life before you married your current wife. Not to mention the fact that she feels she has to share her love with the "other women" in your life, and she resents them for that. Your daughters are a major part of you and they have actually helped make you who you are today. She knew she was getting a package deal when she hooked up with you. She's being very immature about this whole thing. My husband was a package deal as well, and I couldn't love his kids any more than if I had given birth to them. They are a part of him, and I adore them!! Please let her know that when she calls them ugly it not only hurts your feelings but it insults you as they are a creation of you. Put your foot down and do NOT tolerate this verbal abuse from her. This is HER problem and she better deal with it, but she cannot continue with this behavior...it's not fair to you or your daughters.

BTW...everyone naturally assumed you were a woman because we just cannot imagine another woman insulting your daughters in this manner.

One word - "bye."

Jealousy over your ex, previous life, or time you spend with your daughters...it doesn't matter what her reasoning is - you have to recognize this big red flag on your partner. She clearly has problems, and insulting your family is the ultimate no no.

Let her get away with this, and you will open the doors for much worse to come in the future.

Why do people assume you are a woman? Gosh, that's easy. All the anti-male sexism in our society, they are assuming the jerk is a man. Always a man.All women are sensitive and kind and wonderful in every way.

Also, a lot of men are removed from their kid's lives, so to even see them they assume you are a custodial mother.

Don't you know all of us men are rapists and murderers?

Get yourself another partner. Kids are priceless; jerky women are a dime a dozen, just as jerky men are a dime a dozen.

Hmm, have been meant to forget approximately approximately our life in the worldwide, yet that makes or looks like reincarnation is a danger. comprehensible, sure, yet greater of a Asian concept, then a American one. i'm hoping no longer in marvel, considering this fact echos such. (O).o? relatively, i does not understand, yet i'm going to be chuffed just to bypass the Pearly Gates. right this is a theory to replicate on. All in Heaven are Saints, yet others say such is so?

If i were you I would certainly confront her about this and ask her why she would say such a mean-spirited comment and what did she hope to gain by saying it? She sounds like she needs a good lesson in manners and how to deal with jealousy (or other self assurance problems) Good luck...sounds like a no-win situation with a woman who doesnt think before she talks.

Is this a woman who you really care about and does she really care about you? How do you think she would have reacted if U said that of her? Oh, have U spoke derogatory of your ex to her, because she might think saying that is reinforcing your dislike for your ex. Me, I'd have my daughters whip that a**!!

Remember the kids came before the guy. Love your children, and shop for a new guy. Sounds like you are stuck with the village idiot.

It sounds as if your girlfriend is having a hard time seeing YOU in your daughters, and probably only see's your ex-wife's resemblances in them. And to her, it might not be that attractive of a sight.

Sounds like your woman has some serious jealousy and insecurity issues! (w/your girls, ex, or both:<(

Is she a good person otherwise? I'm kinda wondering what you see in her... I'd tell her that her statement hurt you and made you angry.
