Take it to a tire place, they can chisel the nut off of the stud. Then have the nut and wheel stud replaced.

if it is rounded off, then it is possible for another size socket to fit over the lug nut and remove it. I have hammered a smaller size socket over the rounded nut to be removed. There are special tools for the job but sometimes are special order. Harbor freight tools sells a remover. If the threads are stripped then it will have to be cut off and a new stud replaced.

Before you go any further, check to see if they are left handed threads.
Chrysler Corp. liked using reverse threads on one side of the car.
Look at the center of the stud for an "L".
If this has an "L" on it, you need to turn it to the RIGHT to loosen it.
Otherwise try a pipe wrench on the nut.

Then remove the drum, and pound the stud thru the spindle.

Try to snap the lug with a hammer then beat it out. Go to the parts store and buy a new one

Get a "NUT BUSTER" FITS OVER THE NUT, THEN WHEN TIGHTNING THE NUT BUSTER BOLT A CHISEL LIKE END ON NUT BUSTER SPLITS THE BAD LUG NUT. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO IT TWO TIMES, ACROSS FROM FIRST SPLIT. GOOD LUCK, THE ONLY OTHER THING IS A CUTTING TORCH

look at the wheel stud. If it's damaged, it's going to have to be replaced. If it needs to be replaced, your best bet is to put the OTHER lugnuts back on, and get your car/truck to a tire store. They can press out the bad stud and get you back on the road.

Air hammer with a spike tip or chisel tip and split the lugnut.
