Networking computers?

Hi i want to hook up 6 computers but i want to do it wirelessly so they can all use the same internet what do i need to do this thanks

A wireless router -- connect it to your cable modem, run the configuration programs and you should be all set. Pay particular attention to the security, though, or you'll be providing internet to the neighborhood.

You will need 1 wireless router, 5 wireless adapters. You install the wireless adapters in the computers and then hook up the router to the main computer. The router will come with software to install and configure the router.

ur goin 2 need a modem which u connect to the inet, connect a router to that *a router sends out the wireless signals* then get 6 wireless receivers * get USB 1s if ur usin desktops or Wireless Cards if ur usin laptops.

then if u want to network then so u can share files, click on
Start --> Control Panel --> Network Connections --> Set up a home or small office network
and follow the onscreen instructions

You'll need an 8 port wireless router or switch. What you do is plug your DSL or Cable modem into it, and then configure your laptops to talk to the wireless router or switch. Make sure you put some type of encryption key on the wireless so noone can hack you. I recommend 128-Bit WEP keys. If the computers aren't laptops then you'll need wireless cards for the computers as well. Here are some links for the equipment.

a wireless router. just a wireless router if ur on cable and a wireless adsl modem router if ya got a bt line.
