Many Jews hold powerful positions in government, media and in many other arenas of influence in the US. (I'm Jewish and think this is great, but have a problem w Israeli occupation of Palestine). So we Jews have tremendous influence in the US, as it regards Israeli interest and policy.

Many Jews, after experiencing and learning of the horrors of the Holocaust (and nearly being wiped out), are plenty invested in having a homeland from which to defend themselves.

The way the land was seized, and the treatment of the Palestinians is wrong, however.

They dominate the Federal Reserve Board and can cause a Great Depression in the United States whenever they choose, or determine whether the United States will be able to afford to fight a war, or not.

That's why the US government backs Israel, no matter how despicably the Israelis behave. And that backing is, in turn, why Israel behaves so despicably.

Deporting people who don't belong in a region, however, is certainly a legitimate idea. It might not be practical, however. If a house belongs to its owner, and not to the thief who comes through the door with a gun in his hand, then Palestine belongs to the Palestinians, not to the Jews.
