Yesterday during our conversation my girlfriend said to me that the thing she most likes about me is that I am very sweet and really down to earth, which she says is uncommon in men! What does it mean when a girl says this? I know she is looking for a serious long-term relationship.

means that your really nice, and that your easy to be around, that u dont act arragant or upiddy, what she said to u was a very good thing.. means she feels she really has someone special..

Does this bother you? What is wrong with being sweet and down to earth. I think that was a wonderful description. A lot of men are pompous and full of themselves. If you want more feedback, ask her what exactly does she mean by sweet and down to earth. Tell her you are really interested in her and describe how you see her.

I don t imagine that is awkward to ask. i imagine it s cool that there are 1000's people out the following giving one yet another new concepts for issues to say when we don t comprehend what to say or we experience like being resourceful in what you're saying. I only used the "again at ya".

It means that you're real and not prententious...you don't put on any airs or try to be someone you're not. It's a very, VERY good thing to be sweet and down to earth! She just appreciates you for who you are.

I have to agree with other poster. Ask he to clarify. Hopefully, she'll give example of what she likes about you, so you can do more of that. And since she says that you are sweet, I'm sure you do just that...

She means that you are true and natural, real, you don't play games...you are caring. It is a good thing.
