As long as you've got the thesis in the opening statement, you can conclude with reaffirming or restating your thesis statement again in the conclusion.

Remember a thesis statement in an essay is a sentence that explicitly identifies the purpose of the paper or previews its main ideas, so it really needs to come in the introductory paragraph. In the conclusion, you can restate the thesis in a different way.

Well your thesis should always be in your opening paragraph, but you also will want to restate it in different words in your conclusion.

yeah - you can repeat the thesis in the conclusion - just change it around.
Give the same idea, in a different way...

"In conclusion, [insert idea of thesis here]..."

Hope this helps.

Rule of thumb:
Thesis - last sentence of introduction
Reworded/Evaluated thesis - first sentence of conclusion
