heavy pockets of peole with cancers lived in the neworleans area prior to katrina as evidenced by several studies not yet fully completed .MOST of the people had lived in the community for life and those who had died of cancer and where suffering where part of a government study .DID the un released findings cause the people of the community to be dispuresed in an effort to avoid billions in clean up and civil suits of companies to the north that used the river as a toxic waste dump that pooled in the delta area an affected the minority's who did not have money to purchase exspensive water purification systems heavily used in the area for 30 years now .how long have they known of this and why where business and wealthy home owners urged to install water purification systems back in the 70's

NEw Orleans flooded because the mayor and the levey boards used money for all sorts of other projects other than to repair the leveys. And in the long run, they were not designed for this level of storm either.
