I don't think it's weird at all, you can get a lot of what you get from a conventional relationship through relationships with your friends and family. Obviously there's the physical stuff to consider, but if you're not interested in that then why bother with the boyfriend-girlfriend thing? Independence can be an equally rewarding lifestyle, it just depends on what you really want out of your life.

I'd say it's pretty weird. It's not very normal is it? I suppose most people would long for a relationship at certain points in their lives. So not wanting to get into a relationship is kinda odd. It's not human nature, that person must be a really independant person. And one who also doesn't enjoy companionship.

well depends how old they are, but i would say yes it is weird that's if they're not afraid of having a relationship
