my ex sent me a text message at 4am last night saying "I hope ur feelin ok miss you xoo". The reason why this is weird to me is b/c we broke up almost 3 months ago after dating for 2+ years. She knows I'm still in love with her and would do anything to have her back and she keeps telling me were not going to get back together. So why would she send me this text? to mess with my head? She isnt the type of girl that plays stupid games. Another theory I have and fear is that she sent me the text by mistake and meant to send it to another guy that she likes. Anyways, your thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

OK that is weird, my ex called me on both my phones last night too ! We dated for 2 yrs and broke up over 3 yrs ago. He regrets it each day and tries to come back into my life. But we are just friends now. So it never hurts to just pick up the phone and call her and say Hey you sent me a text last night everything ok?
That is what I did this morning, I called him and said hey you called last night everything ok?
It was a late night for him and he just couldn't sleep and wanted to talk. So give her a call. She will tell you the truth if it was meant for you or someone else.

I understand your fears and you can either call/text her back to make sure it was meant for you, or, ignore it and wait until it happens again. My main question to you would be when was the last time you spoke with her and have you given her a reason to believe you are not feeling okay. Odds are she wants to keep you backup in case current bf doesn't work out shes probably scared to be alone and know you will wait for her I wouldn't do it you sound like an intelligent wonderful person there are plenty of people out there for you who wont play stupid games don't give in and good luck

either one of your thoughts could be correct. She could be really miss you and has realized that or even though wanting to send it to another guy she sent it to you b/c you were so heavy on her mind. I would just fall back into it though. Even if she is not into playing games, she could only be reaching out b/c of lonliness or insecurity....just be careful....
