I am in love with Joyce and she is Chinese but I dont know how the Chinese culture works so, if someone can give me insight I'd be thankful

ask her dad for permission first, that would be the honorable thing to do. Then the rest is up to you and how do you think she would dream of the moment. Trust me she will remember this for the rest of her life so think outside the box and go dreamy.

I am married to a Chinese Malaysian...I stuck an engagement ring in an Easter basket for her to find. (the first time she had ever had such an experience..the egg hunt and all) She pulled it out and looked at it, then looked at me. I asked her what finger she would like that ring to be on..she blinked several times. I laughed, kissed her and then said.."Will you marry me?" She said yes, so then I told her then the finger you want is this one, and put the ring on her left hand. There are some things that not even culture can interfere with. You may need to get her help dealing with the parents, but once she has said "yes" everything else is easy! Good luck sir, hope you find the same happiness I have!

Propose to her any which way you want. Why would you want to do things the way chinese people do if you are not chinese? If she is with you, it's because she likes the way you are. Be yourself and do it with love.

well first thing i would do i would go on the net first and learn a little about there culter and there launge and especially how to say i love you in there culter that would impress her a lot
