I made a road trip packet just for this and put it on a website. Visit http://www.freewebs.com/roadtrippacket/ and get it there! It's great. It has crosswords, mazes, and lots of more fun stuff. It will last you up to 3 hours (depending how fast you can do the stuff). Then in the back there are suggestion for other things to do! Enjoy! Have a fun and safe trip!

Just shut the sterio and start chatting. Chatting in a long drive will be a good one. It helps you to understand each other in a deep manner, It also reveals some personal information.

Watch the scenery and follow a map. Nothing else even comes close. Talk about the beauty out there and discuss the differences with where you come from.

Bring some sort of entertainment with you.. i.e. - magazines, books, DVD player and movies, games, music. Anything that would interest you and you would have fun with.

Just use your imagination and you can have tons of fun while enjoying the car ride.

Best ever investment was a portable DVD player. Kept the kids from fighting on our trip from CA to WA. If they did get in trouble, their punishment was NO DVD! Worked great!

I just went on one, of course I have 3 children and I had to have some sort of entertainment for them for my sanity. I got a portable DVD player and it worked wonders. Other than that we slept and listened to Cd's.

Watch DVD's, listen to music, talk, read, make up games like "one head light" or something for the kids.

Sleep or take a book along to read. A hand held game is fine.
