How come no matter how much a woman may beg a man to please clean up after themselves, men seem completely incapable of it?

Because men by nature are just slobs (not all but some). If women weren't here to get men to pick up after themselves (and I don't mean just laundry), this world would be one huge garbage dump!

You are with the wrong men. The men in my life do clean up after themselves and are very good at it without prompting from me. Any shared areas are well maintained, including the bathroom. I am very pleased.

My husband cleans up after himself most of the time.

I think its called clutter blindness. You see a piles of clothes on the floor and pick it up. Men just step over it, like its not there. I think its ingrained in our DNA.

if he doesn't clean : leave it, just confront him with his own mess
