marine battey's are tough, do you have 1 or 2, buy a tester make sure your altenator is good and test through that, or stator/magnito, get a tricle charger and slow charge over night before use. take battery out and store in cool try place not on concrete, you need to make sure your acid levels in battery are at proper height and if not fill with acid or disstilled water
replacing ever season could get costly i know from personl experience

Get a smart charger, it will tell u when it's fully charged, and ue'll probably be able to tell if it's good, if u doubt it buy a new battery.

to know for sure its good you need a load tester. if you remove battery almost any automotive parts shop will load test for free and unlike marine specialists they dont normally stock marine batteries so they are not going to tell you its bad so you have to buy a new one
(thats a real long, bad sentence, but you get the idea)

one of the best ways is to buy [theyre cheap] a hydrometer from any auto parts store. just follow the instructions. this will tell you if its good. your charger will tell you when its fully charged.
