If you would like to add some forums to your website, i'd recommend adding phpBB. It's really easy to use and the admin system is awesome. So if your good with ftp, it should be easy for you to upload to your website...so go over to phpBB.com and download the newest package. You can find the newest package at
http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php
Once you've downloaded that read the documentation available on this page, and it'll explain to you how to install the forums on your website.

do not forget - in case you position your own up, it is mandatory to stay alongside of safe practices patches that come out for it, or you may want to log in to stumble on that it is been exploited by using someone with numerous time on their fingers.

if not you can use one here and link to it on your site
