lymphocytes are white blood cells there are two types of lymphocytes T-cells and B-cells the lymphocyte T-cells are responsible for the production of antibodies that fight germs and bacteria while the lymphocyte B-cells detect foreign bodies and they stimulate other white blood cells therefore an increase in the concentration of lymphocytes in the blood i mean above normal can only indicate one thing you have some kind of disease so be careful but in my opinion since you are pregnant it is normal to produce more lymphocytes in order to protect the fetus or in other word the baby.

Lymphocytes ARE a type of white blood cell. However, the neutrophils, eosinophils etc are GRANULOCYTES.

The Lymphocytes have special functions are are of two general varieties: the T cell and the B cell

The T cell has one subgroup of helper T cells, which release various chemicals to help other immune cells work, and killer T cells which work a bit like the Granulocytes.

The B cells make antibodies.

In terms of the actual number, I think that's about right. I wouldn't be particularly worried about it. You should see your doctor and ask them, though.

Lymphocytes are some kind of the white blood cells that are highly concentrated in the lymphatic system. They really help the body to fight aginst infections in their correct proportioin. These body defence system are in various forms depending on the mode at which they fight the infections.

We have some that are like glue, when in contact with infections, they send glue substances on the disease thereby reducing its effectiveness. We have some that eat the shell of the infection resulting to explosion. Again we have some that are toxic like that apply toxins to the infection and eventually kill it.

In the increase of the toxic form of infection by 14% or any amount is bound to affect the human because when the proportion that is used to kill the infection is attain, the remain will then be realease to the body and whcih is very harmful as we know toxic substances are really harmful to humans. So in that case I presise it is bad.

Lymphocytes are cells in blood and lymph nodes that fight pathogens. They constitute much of the body's immune system, and produce anti-bodies.

The normal amount in blood is between 25% and 33%, so you are somewhat low. You should be worried if the number increases, because that might point to viral infection.

A decrease in lymphocytes (and white blood cells in general) might be caused by drugs you take.

Lymphocytes are one of the variety white blood cells and typically make up 20-30% of white blood cells aka leukocytes.

Monocytes generally make up 2-6%, neutrophiles 62-81%, basophiles .5-1%, and eosinophiles 1-3% but are higher in allergic individuals.

14% is a little low, talk with your obstetrician.

lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell. I do not know what levels are appropriate for pregnant women. If it is a high level, it indicates that the body is reacting to a stimulus...external (immune response) or internal (autoimmune). The doctor should be able to explain the significance of the test results.
