Here is what I want:

Price: THE CHEAPEST U CAN FIND
CPU: >1.5 GHz
RAM: 512 MB - 1 GB
Screen: dont care about size
Hard Drive: atleast 40 GB
Optical Drive: CD-RW
Internet: dont need (i have a usb wireless card that i will be using)
Weight: reasonable - i will be carrying this around a bit but dont care about the weight very much

I will be using this as a laptop that i can bring on vacation every once in a while. I would like to be able to do music editing with this (i use GoldWave). Also I do a bit of programing (visual studio J# .NET). If it can handle those two things it should be able to easily cover the rest of the things i will be using it for.

Please dont just give me a link to dell.com or tigerdirect.com! Give me the link to the accual laptop allready configured.

I dont care if its used but plz not ebay.

THANK YOU!

Try:
http://www.ebay.com/
http://www.nec-computers.co.uk/product/P_Range.asp?id=64
http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/
here 100% that you will find somethig cheap
PS if you don't want to use the laptop for gameing then you don't need 1Gb-Ram i recommend a laptop:
Cpu: 2000Mhz
Ram: 256-512 Mb
Video: 128Mb

Hmmm.... let's see.

if I can't tell you to go to ebay, OR dell ... where else can I tell you to get a laptop?
Anyway, I'll give you the laptop model if you want. I feel if you want to program on the laptop, Latitude and Inspiron (esp. Inspiron 9400) from Dell are good.

properly i'd recommend a netbook in that funds. you may want to get a low end one in that funds quite then a used laptop. in case you dont state what you want out of your pc it truly is hard to understand what's recommend to you.

Always check Ebay for cheap used stuff.
Around here, the best place for new stuff is Notebook Depot.

I have always found the best prices on eBay.
You can always compare the prices with what's available on the web directly

Try sharper image. They tend to sell low-end priced products.

Also try Aldi.
