Not sure about the UK, but in the USA, a medical school rarely gives scholarships. Everyone attending is smart and accomplished and willing to pay tutition and medical schools struggle financially, so why give scholarships?
But what is an option is to find a group to pay your way. The big ones here are the military (and then after med school and residency, you owe them 7 years I think, but they can force you to renew).
And there are USA government programs for under-served communities. Native reservations, poor ghetto neighborhoods and farm towns all need doctors and if you commit to go there for 3 to 5 years after your training, the program pays your way. Some graduates of foreign medical schools get into USA residency programs that way. You get paid something in those positions, like $80,000/year but less than in private practice. And while you get a choice of where to go, it is never in a big city, in a nice neighborhood with lots of high culture.
So I'd look into if there are similar programs in the UK. Contact the financial aid office of the medical schools. They'll know if the Royal Navy or the UK government have programs like that. And who could qualify.
