No, but I have.
I don't get to go to the movies very often anymore (life with kids) so when I do, I want to savor the whole experience, have popcorn, etc.
When I was going to the movies a lot, I would take my own chocolate or sweets sometimes. I object to paying cinema prices for treats. As David Spade said "I don't think you can call anything that cost $17.50 a snack!"

OH YEAH! They over charge and it is NOT right!
ONE time a long time ago my mom (( WHEN I WAS A KID ))
was sneaking a big bag of popcorn in a large purse, and we kids had our own sodas...The guy at the door smelled the pop corn and asked my mom if she had some in her bag...she did not lie and he took it away!
TO THIS DAY I sneak food and don't give a darn about it being WRONG...
We should have options not just the PRICE is high but better snacks to eat!
THEIR popcorn is not fresh, they have it stored in huge bags in the back...sometimes it has been chewed into by rodents!
The machine they have out front is NOT a POPPER!
It just tosses the already popped corn around to LOOK like it is popping! But it is just a lamp that helps to warm it up!
I once saw the bag of pre-popped corn in the BROOM closet with the dust pans and all!
NOT TO MENTION: 1,600-calorie buckets of movie theater popcorn,

I am appalled at even the thought of trying to sneak food and drink into the movie theater just to save the $4 for a 12oz coke and an additional $3.50 for a candy bar..... I mean the idea of slipping a couple of candy bars into your pocket or maybe hiding a few things in your sock under your pants leg.... and just to say girls with purses!!!! I mean especially the big ones??? I couldn't imagine ever bringing in chips, candy, a couple of cokes and a large daquri in one of those..... :)

Yeah. We've done it before. My brother used his labtop bag and we stuffed chips and stuff in it. And, I wore a big Jacket and stuffed coke in it.
Food from the Theaters is a waste of money.
And ^^^ That girl Samuella just told us her life story!

We always buy the popcorn at the theater because it tastes so good but we often bring in candy.. that's too expensive to buy there.
