Have you recently given up caffeine? I get headaches if I don't get my coffee.
Sinus headaches are worse than caffeine headaches - so if a pain reliever isn't helping try an allergy medication specifically for allergy-sinus. If it hurts to bend down and you feel like you cannot pick up anything off the floor because your head hurts too much that is a sinus headache.
There are a lot of other reasons for headache also. Being too hot will also cause a bad headache. If you feel much better with a cold cloth on your head - then you are too warm. Try keeping your home cooler.
People with high blood pressure get headaches. These are very serious and you should see a doctor right away if you have a history of high blood pressure.
These suggestions are not meant to cover every possibility - but just a couple of things that I hope might help you.

I'm sorry to hear your having headaches. I've had a headache since 1987. It never goes away, at times it's really bad and I have to go to bed. I have had every test known to man to try and find the problem, nothing helps. It's crazy but when I had surgery I woke up in recovery and I had my headache. I go to bed with it and get up with it. I live on oxycodone, 6 a day just to get things done. I have the light headed and dizzy at times, but used to it now. Good Luck

Depending on the circumstances. your age and your health... Have you had any injury to your back neck or head? Good old asprin is one of the best meds because it also is an antiinflamatory. Have you ever been to a Chiropractor? I've been suffering with headaches for 40 years. Have had all kinds of test meds, massages accupucture accupressure etc. etc. etc. I swear by my chiropractor. One trip to him after suffering as long as I can and presto it's starting to ease up then within a short time it's gone.. It could also be TMJ, a disorder concerning your jaw alignment. I'd see a Dr. dentist or Chiropractor. Believe me, it's a process of elimination. Good luck.

Sounds like a simple solution, but increase the water you drink. You may be dehydrated. Try drinking several large glasses of water every day & see if this helps. Often, when a person is dehydrated, a headache is the first symptom.

Dehydration is an often overlooked culprit.

But, it could be a million things--since it's more than two weeks, you really should seek professional help.
