All motorcycles are pretty much the same. Clutch on the left side of handle bars and shifter on left side of motor next to the left foot. The throttle is on the right side of handle bars. When you shift the pattern is 1 down 4 up. Start bike in neutral squeeze the clutch in and push down on the shifter it will clunck, that is first gear. slowly twist the throttle and let out the clutch, when you start to move more gas less clutch. As you go faster and it is time to shift squeeze the clutch and let off the gas at the same time put you toe under the shifter and lift up it will clunck 2nd. Contenue all the way to 5th as you build up speed. I would suguest, it sounds like you have not ridden before, take riding coures.
Peace be with you.

1 Squeeze the clutch lever (usually the left hand one)
2 move the gear lever (usually on the left side of the engine)
3 release the gear lever.

The left lever is the clutch, you push that in and shift with the shifter petal on the right side just in front of the foot peg.

the other answers tell you how to change gear, but do you mean change gearing? the ratio of how fast the engine turns compared to how fast the wheel turns?
Depends on bike, if its chain drive belt drive or fully automatic.
