im am in 12th grade n want to make a working or a non-working model in physics!

you can make a mini rail gun for cheep. you can find the plans online, to make a rail gun using a ruler, magnents, and a ball bearing. it is cheep, and fun. you could tell the principals of it and all that jazz.. then set the bearing in motion and make it smash a bottle or something. you could also tell that this is how some rollercosters and monorails work.. but remember to set up a demonstration where you break stuff with it. that will keep peoples intrest.

i think you could try making a working model of a volcano. Its quite simple to make. You can even add you own personal touch to it. Just key in the search for the basic principle on yahoo search.

If you are asking just for Physics project, the going for making a telescope would be a good option....just try it.

what i made for my physics project was a mouse trap car with a needle that blew up a balloon. people in my class made a contraption like a giant slide that loops and stuff... stuff that hit dominos
