It is not a matter of terrorists any more. What else can Israel do but defend its self from a country that has declared their intent to wipe Israel off the map?

Um... Israel is attacking Lebanon, not the new Palestinian state controlled by Hamas. Hamas is a minority party in Lebanon.

it is still a matter of terrorists, even greater now. they have been given a voice by a palistine that was tired of corruption. hamas is a terrorist faction, and feel that they have free reign now that they have been voted in. no one ever said they were mensa candidates. they think now that they can step up their activities, which was death and destruction on innocents, and palistinians gave them this false impression.which makes me wonder about palistinians as a whole. be that as it may, hamas needs to be driven off the face of the earth. that's what they wanted to do to israel, who was just trying to exist and make peace and live side by side, even though they knew it was not going to happen. israel tried to make this happen because of world opinion. they don't care now about world opinion, they just want this faction to know they are not living by their rules anymore. hamas must be stopped. al qaida must be stopped, and hezebollah must be stopped. the world has to stop living in fear because the politically correct says we must try to keep trying to get them to abide by the rules. they laugh at rules, and they kill innocents. they are not good people, and you don't try to appease people who are not good. you get rid of them so that other's who think they can rule by fear know that it's not happening.

Because Bush's version of democracy stipulates only if American puppets are elected, otherwise that is not 'correct' democracy.
