Yes, if they have monitors, keyboards and mouse or hooked up to a KVM switch. If you are asking to use both on the internet, then you need what is called a router to connect both computers to.
Linksys is a good brand and can be bought from most major retailers of computer parts/accessories.

If you have broadband/dsl you can get a router and connect to the internet at the same time

If you have a router you can connect to them and create a network but you cannot mix programs.
