You can ride them all, but you would look like a guy riding a mini bike on a sportster.
I am 6'4" and ride the HD Softail Standard, it's was my bike of choice, easy & fun to ride. Handels very well. If you are not going to ride long distance, don't buy a full dressed bike. If you are planning on going from California to florida, you will still be stopping every 150-200 miles to put gas in any of them, the biggest gas tank is still around 5 gallons. 225 miles on one take is about the normal range @ 45m, per gallon or so.
I suggest buying the 2007 when they come out next month, get a model injected, I have the injected model, if you change the exhaust or air cleaner you will need to change the computer on the injected model, I put Arlen Ness's (Big Shot) on mine, has auto maping installed.
The plus about injection is better fuel range and starts easy, no choke. Remember to warm up the bike for at least 4 minutes before taking off, or you get a power stall, sounds like the bike is running out of gas.
I recommend Sampson Rip saw exhaust, they are good pipes and don't cost that much, heat shields come with them, unlike some other pipes, who charges 100+ just for heat shields.
Get a good HJC Full Face Helmet, and perforated leather all weather Vanson Jacket, get some gloves that are also perforated leather from Vanson they have Kevlar in them.
If you ride long enough you will most likely dropp the bike or take a gravel spill. The full face helmet kept my friend from loosing his chin in a low speed drop, less than 25 MPH. Saved his face.
Here's all the links you need to make a decision in your choice, besafe, have fun. I'll see you on the road.

The question is , How much riding experience do you have? Harley's aren't for beginners. If you're a newbie, I'd start with something a little lighter. The smallest Harley's weigh in at about 550-650lbs.& can be a bear to handle at low speed(you should be strong enough at your size), but you should learn how to handle a heavy bike before you plunk down the cash & take to the road.

Well if the look is what you are going for. Your best bet is to not buy a Harley at all. Unless your the kind of guy who just loves to waste money and see everyone else on your bike! There are alot of other bike out there including Japaneese (honda Yamaha Kaw) that are bigger and faster, better looking and 1/2 price. Do your research and look into used customs too.

Any Harley can be adjusted with forward controls and different shaped handle bars, to make the operation comfortable for you. If you're buying a new bike, make the changes part of the deal.

You are about the same size as my sweetheart and he has a Road King Custom. It is a good fit for him. I think a big guy on a smaller bike looks a little silly.

im bigger than you and I ride a super glide the bast thing to do is find a bike that turns you on dont worry about if it fits .fid one you like and dress her up the way you want her this makes the bike yours with forward controlls you wont have the cramped up knee in the chest feeling and then you can add highway bars and pegs.so if you are gona buy a bike buy one you like and make it fit.

Go to a dealer and sit on each of them. Also, keep in mind that minor adjustments to handlebar angle, seat height, and pedal placement can be made.
