Yes, you system most likely has a AGP graphics port which is fine for some very good video cards like Nvidia. (AGP stands for Accelerated Graphics Port) it's been superseded by PCI express now but is still OK. If you can tell me in an email what the motherboard name and model is I can give you more information. Good luck!

Yes.

There are nvidia Geforce cards for all types of slots.

PCI, AGP, and PCI-Express.

If a certain card is compatible with your system, remains to be seen. I don't know your specs or what card you're looking at.

yes, but i think you need more sdram like another 256 board of sdram and you need to check the mother board to find out whether it works on PCI or AGP

Yes it is.

But make sure you buy the right kind of video card.

PCI, AGP or PCI Express. You need to find out which one of these three types of video cards your computer will take.

Depends if the video card is pci express and whether your motherboard can support pci express slot. Also check if its AGP or PCI to see whether your motherboard supports it.

That's like asking if a gas engine will fit in your car.
Chances are it will, if it's the right engine configuration (fits the mounts) and your car takes a gas engine in the first place.
It totally depends on WHICH card and what MotherBoard you have.
you will need to be MUCH more specific.
