I have read it 8 times and is one of my favorite books. I really love how Tolstoy fleshed out the characters so that they became real.

My advice...keep reading it and don't put it down. I've quit twice halfway through the book because I took a break from it. I came back about two or three weeks later and was lost. I have yet to make it through the novel...not because it's not interesting...but because it's so long it's hard to hold all the pieces of the story together in your mind.

I liked it. I had a hard time keeping up with all the characters, and there was some vocabulary I had to stop and look up because it was written so long ago. But what a great story! I liked Anna Karenina even more.
