well, the first thing you should do is to ask the person that gave you the red cell count...!
did you have a blood test at your doctors' or at the hospital? whoever gave you the results should have ensured you knew what they meant, and if there was any action needing to be taken.
when i was pregnant i had a low red cell count and high white. my doctor explained this to me, just before she gave me iron injections. aargh. my next pregnancy i took supplements throughout!
best advice: get your doc to check your blood and also to explain clearly the results.
good luck :o)

If your red cell count is below 10 you will need to take iron or a suppliment or eat iron rich food in order to keep up your energy for the birth.
A high white cell count may be an infection. see a doctor

My wife has this although she's not pregnant. Her particular problem was caused by her body stopping to digest Vitamin B. This cannot be rectified by just eating high Vitamin B foods, she has to have regular injections for life. However as you are pregnant you could be deficient in iron and folic acid. See your doctor before trying any recommended antidotes though to be on the safe side. Good luck with the birth.

Your red cell count can be low due to dehydration. Remember to drink those glasses of water all day.
An elevated white count can mean infection.
Ask your physician or nurse practitioner.

You have an infection somewhere. If your body is fighting something the white cell count will be high.
